Natalie Elizabeth Wright, 92, of Sheridan, passed away Friday, January 11, 2019 at Westview Health Care Center. She was born August 21, 1926 in Sheridan, Wyoming to Ben and Georgine (Thompson) Hansen.
Natalie graduated from Sheridan High School in 1944. She attended college in Lincoln, Nebraska, the University of Denver and University of Wyoming and received her master’s degree. Natalie was a librarian and school teacher at Sheridan High School for many years.
She married William E. “Bill” Wright on December 27, 1966 in Sheridan. Her husband, Bill was a local artist. Natalie enjoyed cross word puzzles, collecting art, and traveling.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill in 1989, one sister, and two brothers. Natalie is survived by her nephew, Jack (Frances) Hansen of Sheridan.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 22, 2019 in the Sheridan Municipal Cemetery with Pastor Weldon Treat officiating. Online condolences may be written at www.championfh.com. Arrangements are under the direction of Champion Funeral Home.
