Mary was born October 15, 1933 to Robert and Rose McNutt in Fort Collins, CO.

 

Mary grew up in Fort Collins with 7 brother and sisters.

Mary married George Allen Sickler June 16, 1950. During this time, they had 9 children. Mary traveled with George while he was in the Air Force. Eventually, settling in Sheridan, WY. During their time traveling Mary obtained her LPN from South Eastern College in Utah. For many years she cared for the elderly in various nursing facilities.

Mary’s passion for bingo gave her an extended family she greatly enjoyed. She was an avid reader and obtained great pleasure in crocheting gifts for her grandchildren. In recent years Mary spent her time watching Perry Mason along with old western shows.

Mary was proceeded in death by her husband George, both of her parents, 3 brothers, 4 sisters and her granddaughter Linda Rogers.

Mary is survived by her brother Jack (Linda) McNutt-Texas, her sons Louie (Jeanne) Sickler – Buffalo, WY, Richard (Laura) Sickler – Buffalo, WY, Robert (Debbie) Sickler – Texas, George Biglen – Gillette, WY, Michael Biglen – Florida. Also her daughters Georgia (Kelly) Rice – Buffalo, WY, Becky Taylor – Sheridan, WY, Stormy (Jeff) Calentine – Sheridan, WY, and Mary (Al) Podova – Gillette, WY. Along with 34 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.

A viewing will be held from 3-5pm on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at Kane Funeral Home. A viewing will also be held one hour prior to the service at 9am with the service at 10am on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at Kane Funeral Home with Pastor Gordon Harper officiating. Burial will be held in the Sheridan Municipal Cemetery with a reception to follow in Kane reception hall.
