After a complete remodel of the building which historically housed Corral West ranchwear, the Smith Alley Brewing Company will be opening its doors to the public on January 18th. The new brewery will not only have the capacity for 24 locally crafted beers on tap, but will also serve what they call “upscale pub” food. Megan Koltiska, general manager of the Smith Alley Brewing Company, said that she hopes the brewery will become Sheridan’s new “third space.”
Unlike the other two breweries in town, Smith Alley will be the only one that regularly serves food. Koltiska said that they wanted to be collaborative with other businesses, and that there is plenty of room for three breweries in Sheridan.
Koltiska also added that the brewery tried to source as many local products to use in the new space as they could, in order to support the local economy.
The brewery will officially open its doors on Friday, January 18th at 11 a.m. Smith Alley Brewing Company is located at 150 North Main Street, right in the center of Sheridan’s Historic Downtown District.
