Sheridan County residents who are 70 years of age or older and interested in receiving the COVID-19 vaccine are encouraged to call Sheridan Memorial Hospital at 307-675-4471 or Public Health at 307-672-5169 to schedule their vaccine appointment now.

Public Health and Sheridan Memorial Hospital are hoping to hear from residents currently eligible for the vaccine this week to schedule their appointments, and are looking at the possibility of expanding to the next eligible group by mid-February.

Earlier this week, the Wyoming Department of Health confirmed three more Sheridan County resident deaths attributed to COVID-19.

All three had health conditions recognized as putting patients at higher risk of serious illness related to COVID-19… two older Sheridan County women and one older Sheridan County man all died late last month.

This brings the number of Sheridan County resident deaths to twenty-two.

Updates are be posted on Sheridan County’s COVID-19 vaccine page (www.sheridancounty.com/covid-19) as more information becomes available.

Sheridan Memorial Hospital (SMH) is currently scheduling appointments for eligible individuals and creating a waitlist for people ages 65-69 who are interested in an appointment once they are eligible.
