Earlier this week, it was announced that Sheridan Fire-Rescue will be accepting a well-traveled, 100-year old fire truck back to its original home in Sheridan.

On the other hand, the City of Buffalo is hoping to finally purchase a brand new fire truck.

During its meeting on Tuesday evening, the city council supported the Buffalo Fire Department’s effort to seek a $450,000 grant to purchase a new fire engine.
