Pauline Mudroch, 100, of Sheridan, passed away on Saturday, September 22, 2018, at the Sheridan Memorial Hospital. Finally at peace. Praise be to God. She has begun her forever family in heaven.

Pauline was born in Orient, IL, on March 20, 1918, to Anna and Antone Forgatch. She was the seventh of eight children to be born. After completing eight years of school she began working to help support her family. She met and married John Mudroch on August 28, 1939. They moved to California where John completed his service. Following the war they opened a small bakery in Tulare, CA.

In September 1949, their only child Diane was born. They closed their bakery. Pauline started working for J.C. Penney and remained there for 25 years. John had a 30 year career with the Post Office.

They enjoyed 60 years together until John’s passing in 1999. Pauline then moved to Buffalo, WY, in 2002, to be closer to her daughter and their families. She eventually moved to Sheridan, WY and was residing at Brookdale Sugarland Ridge until the time of her death.

Pauline was a very kind and loving person both to her family and friends.

Pauline was preceded in death by her parents, her seven siblings, husband, John and granddaughter Sarah Ann. She is survived by her daughter Diane Mehlhaff, granddaughters; Anna Gusse and Amy Ligocki, great grandchildren; Parker Ryan Gusse and Ruby Anne Ligocki.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, September 28, 2018, at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Sheridan, WY, with Reverend Paul J Cain officiating. Her ashes will be taken to a family plot in Jackson, WY.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Martin Luther Grammar School, 1300 W. 5th St., Sheridan, WY 82801.
