Buffalo Mayor Mike Johnson described it as a “house-keeping” chore as the City Council passed Ordinance 1338 on its first reading.
Ordinance #1338 will make a change to city code concerning hunting within the city
While hunters can use certain areas within city limits by obtaining a permit from the police department, the ordinance will now provide for a permit to actually be issued.
The city allows only archery hunting within the city limits.
The ordinance still requires two more readings before it becomes effective.
