The Buffalo City Council seat that has sat vacant since the passing of Russ Humphrey late last year has been filled.
Dan Hart took his oath of office last night and joins newly elected Travis Lawrence and Scott Madsen to form a “new look” council along with veteran Wes Haskins and Mayor Mike Johnson.
The new look was clearly evident last night with councilman Haskins absent from the meeting.
Hart was added to the council after being selected from 7 citizens who had submitted letters of interest seeking to fill the final two years of Humphrey’s term.
