SHERIDAN, WY — Residents of the North Heights area of Sheridan are urged to be on the lookout for a mountain lion that was spotted on Tuesday night.
According to a release from SPD, “residents in the area of North Heights, there has been a sighting of Mt. Lion in the area. Game and Fish as well as other Law Enforcement are in the area attempting to locate it. Please put your animals inside and call us if you see it.”
The mountain lion was spotted around 6 p.m. on Tuesday night. SPD and Game and Fish are actively looking for the animal and will notify residents if and when it is found.
