A private family celebration of life for Michael Huff, 76 year old Buffalo resident who passed away suddenly April 20 will be held at a time to be announced.  Donations in Mr. Huff’s memory may be made to the Michael Huff Memorial in care of the Harness Funeral Home at 351 N. Michael Parker Huff was born on December 31, 1942 in Lansing, Michigan to Edgar and Florence Huff. He grew up and went to school in Michigan.  He was married and lived in Las Vegas for a few years.  After a divorce he married Judy Hartle in Bend, Oregon and they made their home in Oregon.  Following a second divorce in the early 1990’s he moved to Buffalo Wyoming where worked at various jobs. He spent ten years as a long haul trucker driving his own truck.  He started several businesses including; landscaping, and a backhoe and excavating service.  He was a jack of all trades and was capable at auto- mechanics, plumbing, electricity and carpentry.  He especially enjoyed the second-hand business and was always up for a trade.  In all his travels he loved the wide open spaces of the West the best and he loved Buffalo where he continued living until his death.

Mike was a kind and generous person who loved children and would share all he had with anyone in need. He loved animals and rescued many that found their way into his life.  He will be greatly missed by his family and friends

 

He is survived by one son Wes Huff and his wife Amber of Buffalo; two brothers, Ned Huff of California and John Huff of Kinear, Wyoming; three sisters, Joanna Tyack of San Diego, California, Patricia Koslow of Bend, Oregon and Libby Dreisbach living in the Philippine Islands; and four grandchildren.
