Funeral services for Kaycyn (Kynlee) Christensen, 15 year old Kaycee youth who passed away Friday in Kaycee will be held Wednesday, July 26th at 10:00 a.m. from the Harold Jarrard Park Building in Kaycee with Reverend Danny Davis officiating. Visitation will be held from the Harness Funeral Home Chapel in Buffalo on Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Wednesday at the Harold Jarrard Park Building from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in the Kaycee Cemetery with graveside services to follow the funeral. Donations in Kaycyn’s memory may be made to the Boy’s and Girl’s Club of Kaycee in care of the Harness Funeral Home at 351 N. Adams in Buffalo. Kaycyn Christensen was born on September 16, 2001 in Sheridan, Wyoming to James and Sarah Christensen. He grew up on the family ranch East of Kaycee and went to the Kaycee Elementary School. He was entering his sophomore year at Kaycee High School at the time of his death. He was in 4-H, FFA, loved playing basketball and was learning to play the guitar.
He is survived by his parents, Jim and Wendy Christensen of Kaycee and Sarah Christensen of Casper; one sister Kyla Christensen of Kaycee; paternal grandparents, Mike and Linda Wiederholt of Casper; maternal grandparents, Marcie and Mike Fowkes of Lavan, Utah and Ernie Myers of Salt Lake City, Utah. He was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather Larry Christensen.
