Johnson County became the second county to censure Wyoming Congresswoman Liz Cheney over her support of the Impeachment of President Donald Trump.
The “anti-Cheney” resolution was passed on Saturday by the Republicans of Johnson County.
Carbon County had passed a similar censure effort earlier last week.
IN addition to the censuring effort that is building across the state, Cheney is drawing competition take her Congressional seat in 2022.
State Senator Anthony Bouchard has announced his candidacy and one of her competitors in 2020, Darin Smith, is considering a second run for Wyoming’s lone House of Representative seat.
