The Johnson County Ski-Jor Wars is once again set to run on February 27th, but in a different location.

The event was “touch and go” for several days as snow was in short supply.

With the recent snowfall over the past week, the event can now safely take place.

However, there still is not nearly enough snow for the event to take place in downtown Buffalo north and east of Prosinski Park.

To run the event safely, it has now been moved to the Johnson County Fairgrounds, according to Buffalo Events Coordinator Claudia Todd…

While the location change is a disappointment to downtown businesses, those attending the event will be able to enjoy a number of food and beverage vendors.

The event is set to begin at 9am on the 27th, but contestants will need to register at the Occidental Hotel on Friday, February 26th.

As announced previously, the event is free to the public.
