A joint resolution proposing to amend the Wyoming Constitution authorizing the recall of elected public officials has been introduced into the 66th Wyoming State Legislature’s General Session.
HJ004 was introduced during the last week of February and is co-sponsored by State Senators Bo Biteman of Sheridan and Trey McKeown of Campbell County along with Representatives Mark Jennings of Sheridan, Bill Fortner of Campbell County, Chuck Gray, and Hans Hunt.
The proposal would amend Article 6 by creating a new Section 23 and would pertain to all elected public officers in the state, except judicial officers.
