Johnson County is in line to receive the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine in the coming days.

How many doses and exactly when was not announced during the weekly press briefing yesterday morning.  The state of Wyoming is expected to receive 5,000 doses of the “one-shot” vaccine as early as this week.

Robin King with the Johnson County Public Health Office did announce that response to the Moderna vaccine appears to be declining and steps are being taken by the Wyoming Department of Health to make sure the general public is fully informed regarding the vaccine and its effectiveness…

According to King, once all of the counties have moved through the Priority list 1c that covers citizens with health issues that place them at a higher risk of contracting the virus, the Department of Health will release the vaccine to the general public for the entire state…
