Caroline Riggs, 74, of Parkman, WY, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at Sheridan Memorial Hospital. A Memorial Gathering for family and friends will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 16, 2016 at Champion Funeral Home. In June 2017, the family will be honoring Caroline with a Celebration of Life in Nebraska.
During the 4th of July weekend in 2017, all are welcome to join the family at Karl and Caroline’s home in Parkman for her local Celebration of Life. More details to follow at a later date.
Our family suffered a tremendous loss. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and grandmother. Caroline had a beautiful soul that touched the hearts of everyone she knew. One of her passions, was the National Finals Rodeo and Professional Bull Riding. She loved her family dearly, and also loved cooking, baking and canning. Everyone learned so much from her.
She is survived by her husband, Karl Riggs; children, Jerry Riggs, Marie (Neil) Ferber, and Roger (Tami) Riggs; grandchildren, Sara Ferber, Jay Ferber, and Wyatt Riggs; great grandson, Hesstan Ferber; and sisters, LaDonna (Don) Foley, Bertha Farrington, and Betty Ann (Lee) Murray; and numerous nieces and nephews.
We were all privileged and honored to have known such a wonderful woman who we will always treasure in our hearts forever. She was someone special who meant so much to all of us. We all love you dearly and will miss you, but now you are in heaven watching over each of us.
