Wyoming Superintendent of Public Instruction, Jillian Balow, addressed the issue of reopening the state’s public schools last week during Governor Mark Gordon’s news conference.

Balow had this to say…

In addition, Balow encouraged school superintendents to discuss with local public health officers the  need for limited in-person school instruction that may be warranted for students in the greatest need and still meet CDC guidelines.

Both of these issues must be addressed to allow students to enter school buildings in the summer for a variety of reasons and to do so in a safe way.

Balow believes that each school district should examine their reopening plans to ensue they are able to meet these guidelines.
