SHERIDAN, WY- Sheridan Memorial Hospital has announced that they have partnered with Medical Air Rescue Company (MARC) to bring air ambulance transportation to the Sheridan Area.
According to a news release from the hospital, MARC has based a King Air C90 fixed-wing aircraft at Sheridan County Airport as of January 9th. The aircraft and its medical crew will be on call 24/7 to transport critically ill or injured patients to other facilities when necessary.
Alan Dubberley, communications director for Sheridan Memorial Hospital, said this will increase the level of care that patients can get in Sheridan County when they need it most.
MARC is based out of Rapid City, South Dakota, with satellite bases located throughout the region. Sheridan will be the company’s newest base.
