SHERIDAN, WY— Jack G. Fleenor, age 39 of Sheridan, was arrested yesterday on suspicion of Aggravated Assault/Battery, Interference with a Peace Officer, and Attempt to Elude a Peace Officer. He was booked into the Sheridan County Detention Center and awaits formal charges in court.
At approximately 12:29 pm on March 13, 2019, the Sheridan County Sheriff’s Office responded to an address in Ranchester for the report of a domestic dispute.
As a result of the investigation, deputies notified local law enforcement to search for an adult male in a black car with Utah plates. Wyoming Highway Patrol Troopers located the vehicle on I-90 and a pursuit ensued near Sheridan.
Deputies and Troopers were assisted by Sheridan Police Officers in attempting to stop the subject and keep him away from populated areas. The driver eventually stopped near exit 33 on I-90 and was known to be armed.
Lt. Koltiska with the Sheridan Police Department was instrumental in negotiating a surrender and the subject was arrested without incident.
