Earlier this month, the Wyoming Game & Fish Department welcomed a new Wildlife Biologist to the Buffalo office.
Cheyenne Stewart replaces Dan Thiel, who received a much-deserved promotion and is now working in Sheridan.
Stewart arrived just in time to participate in the Bighorn Moose Ecology research project that was initiated earlier this year…
Public Information Specialist Bud Stewart explained the project in greater detail…
According to Stewart, the program got started late, capturing only 18 cow moose… which is why the search is on to find more cows to continue the project.
