This year is the 125th anniversary of the Johnson County Cattle War and it has been announced that the Wyoming Stock Grower’s Association will be returning to the county… not to do battle with small ranches but to hold a peaceful convention and trade show.
The event will be held next week at the Bomber Mountain Civic Center and is appropriately titled “Johnson County-The Peaceful Re-Invasion”.
The opening of the conference is scheduled for next Wednesday with a reception and the re-enactment of the historic invasion taking place at the TA Guest Ranch.
A general business session will begin on Thursday at the center.
