It’s flu season and last week, the Johnson County Healthcare Center’s Board of Trustees adopted a policy that requires hospital personnel to don flu masks if they choose not to be vaccinated.
Dr. Mark Schueler indicated it is a standard that most healthcare centers adhere to during flu season.
Schueler also spoke of the importance of getting the flu vaccination and pointed to a virulent flu season in Australia as an indicator for a rough season in the area…
