Local veterans from the nation’s Armed Forces were honored in a big way on Friday at Buffalo High School in a special assembly as part of a four-day Veterans Day celebration.

High School Principal Chad Bourgeois reminded the crowd that the students in the auditorium under the age of 17 have spent their entire life while the nation has been at war against terrorism.
