Watercraft inspections have begun in preparation for summer boating in Wyoming.
State law requires all boats be inspected prior to launching each year in an effort to prevent the advance of aquatic invasive species in lakes and reservoirs.
Inspections at the Sheridan station found potentially invasive mussels on a boat traveling through the state in recent days.
The Wyoming Game & Fish Department will be offering training on how to inspect one’s own boat on Saturday, May 4th from 9 to 4 at the Campbell County Library in Gillette.
