The Johnson County School District 1 will once again be searching for a superintendent.
Current superintendent Jim Wagner announced his intention to resign during Monday night’s school board of trustees’ meeting.
The board of trustees will begin a search for his replacement in the next few days.
This will be the second search for a school superintendent in the past three years.
