Today is the deadline for volunteering for Johnson County’s full scale disaster exercise.
This year’s drill includes a scenario involving an airplane crash.
While the Johnson County Airport will be the site of the drill, it will involve all emergency agencies.
Volunteers are needed in this mass casualty and fatality exercise.
Emergency Management Coordinator, Marilyn Connolly spoke to Big Horn Mountain Radio about the need for volunteers…
Because this is a full scale drill, there will be much more activity at the airport and near the hospital that day.
However, please realize that real patients and problems will take precedence over the drill, and all emergency agencies and the Hospital ER will be open for business as usual on that day.
Please call 217-1879 for questions or to volunteer for the drill.
