The Wyoming Department of Transportation announced yesterday the closure of US Highway 14A, west of Burgess Junction.
This 22-mile stretch of state road was scheduled to close on Friday, but heavy snowfall over the past two days resulted in the early closure.
Motorists have US14 through Greybull as a safer alternative during the winter months.
