Sheridan’s newest brewery and restaurant held a soft opening on Thursday night, and will host their grand opening on Friday. The Smith Alley Brewing Company will open their doors to the public and begin serving what they call “upscale pub food” as well as several different locally brewed beers.
Megan Koltiska, general manager of Smith Alley Brewing Company, said that she hopes the brewery will become Sheridan’s new “third space.”
The brewery additionally tried to use as many local products as possible, with plates made by Red Bison Studio in Sheridan, as well as taps custom made by the newly re-opened Sheridan Iron Works.
The brewery will open for full service on Friday at 11 a.m. and remain open until 2 a.m. Smith Alley Brewing Company is located in the heart of Sheridan’s historic downtown, at 150 N. Main Street.
