Senator Dave Kinskey is praising the previous Wyoming Legislature for having the foresight to save funds over the past decade that have served as a sort of safety net during the current economic downturn.

At the same time, he expressed concern over Governor Mead’s intention to re-establish benefits that were cut in the last budget cycle…

 

Some of those restored cuts are in health-related services but Kinskey hopes that the funds are not coming from one-time monies like the rainy day reserve funds or capital gains…

Kinskey expressed those concerns last Friday as guest on the KBBS Morning Show and were echoed by State Representative Mike Madden earlier in the week.
