PRESS RELEASE

SHERIDAN, WY— On June 9, 2019, the Sheridan Police Department responded to the report of an individual struck by a motor vehicle in the 300 Blk. of E. Brundage Street. Responding personnel discovered a male victim lying in the roadway with severe trauma.

The investigation revealed that the male victim was struck by a truck being operated by his wife after exiting the vehicle without her knowledge. The wife of the victim had stopped in the middle of the road during a verbal altercation with a male and female riding a motorcycle.

The victim was treated at the scene by Rocky Mountain Ambulance and Sheridan Fire/Rescue before being transported to Sheridan Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced deceased. The driver of the truck, Angela McIver Livingston, age 40 of Sheridan, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and Aggravated Homicide by Vehicle.

“This tragedy unfolded due to a multitude of unfortunate events, with alcohol being a contributing factor,” said Sheridan Police Chief Richard Adriaens.
