SHERIDAN, WY— Local postal workers hope to stamp out hunger this weekend.
The annual “Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive” which is put on each year by the National Association of Letter Carriers is tomorrow.
Local letter carriers will be collecting food in the nation’s largest one-day volunteer food drive.
Harvey Fryberger, with the NALC and US Postal Service, explained more about the drive at Sheridan’s city council meeting on Monday.
This will be the 27th year of the food drive. The food drive is held annually on the second Saturday of each May.
