Robinson Canyon is the location for the first wildfire of the spring.
Preliminary reports indicate the fire was caused by lightening with very dry conditions.
The size of the fire was estimated to be less than 50 acres as of yesterday evening.
Air support was called in yesterday afternoon over the rough terrain in federal lands controlled by the Bureau of Land Management.
Robinson Canyon is a few miles from the more familiar Crazy Woman Canyon.
