At their recent meeting, the Johnson County School Board was updated on the different projects at district schools by Facilities Director John Zink. In his written report concerning Meadowlark Elementary , Zink said the air handling unit for the school is currently in Sheridan. There is a clogged sewer line which will require excavation of the sidewalk and possibly Burritt Avenue. He said it is likely to wait until school is out for the summer. In addition, he has signed the contract with TK Elevator on the rebuild of the elevator at Buffalo High School. They will begin production of elevator components once they receive the 50% payment for the project.
