UPDATE: As of 10:30 a.m. I-90 between Sheridan and Buffalo has been re-opened to travel in both directions.

However, conditions are still reported to be unfavorable so WYDOT recommends motorists reduce speeds and plan extra time for the drive.

Interstate 90 between Sheridan and Buffalo is currently closed due to winter road conditions.

According to the Wyoming Department of transportation, the road is expected to be re-opened sometime today between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.

WYDOT reminds motorists that parking on the roadway is prohibited and will result in a delay re-opening the road.
