Sheridan Community Land Trust will present a program at the April 23 Big Horn City Historical Society meeting. There will be a carry-in potluck lunch starting at 1:00 p.m., the history program will follow at 2:00. Attendees are encouraged to bring a salad or dessert or main dish or rolls to share with the group. The program will feature members of the Clearmont Historical Group and SCLT Historical Program Manager, Carrie Edinger presenting stories about women who influenced the development of the southeastern Sheridan County area. There are fascinating stories about women homesteaders, women doctors, cooks, schoolteachers and women who owned businesses. The Big Horn Woman’s Club is located at 239 Creighton St in Big Horn.
