HIRING FREEZE LIFTED FOR JOHNSON COUNTY SHERIFF DEPT.

Johnson County’s Commissioners considered lifting the hiring freeze to allow the Johnson County Sheriff to hire a new deputy to replace one that has left the department. Sheriff Rod Odenbach came before the commission to explain they have a candidate and it would just be a matter of weeks before he would be eligible to work. The commissioners approved the request to lift the hiring freeze.
