BUFFALO CRIME UPDATE

Buffalo Police Chief Sean Bissett, in his recent report to the city council, said a suspect arrested in connection with burglaries in Sheridan has also been charged for crimes in Buffalo. In addition, Bissett said the police and Johnson County Sheriff’s Department issued a search warrant where they made two arrests and seized about an ounce of methamphetamine and powder that tested as Fentanyl.
Three children in the house were taken into protective custody and placed elsewhere. Bissett also reported that a local small business recently discovered that a package with just over six and a half pounds of marijuana had been fraudulently shipped using their account, which they discovered when they opened a package returned to them by the shipping company.
