Plans continue taking shape for the Sheridan College Advanced Manufacturing and Applied Sciences Center located on the east side of Interstate 90. According to a report in the Sheridan Press, members of the college board of trustees heard updates Tuesday for the multi-million dollar project currently in the design phase. The space will be large enough for students to build small, single-family homes or smaller pieces of large homes. It will also include lab space to allow for community collaboration and innovation. The state of Wyoming appropriated $4.8 million in a dollar for dollar match toward the Sheridan College Advanced Manufacturing and Applied Sciences Center. The total cost coming in around $9.6 million. Bids are expected this Spring. Construction is expected to start this Summer wrapping up in early Fall of 2024.
