There were plenty of youth pheasant hunters out on Saturday as the Wyoming Game & Fish held it’ annual Youth Only Pheasant hunt at Bud Love Wildlife Management Area.
Early morning snow and rain hampered the young hunters early but it turned into a beautiful afternoon for the under 17 hunters.
A second youth hunt is scheduled for November 30th and December 1st at Fort Phil Kearny.
All youth hunters must be properly licensed and have a $15.50 pheasant special management stamp.
Resident hunters under the age of 14 do not need a bird license but must be accompanied by an adult.
