The Wyoming Game & Fish Department is accepting nominations for the first annual Youth Conservationist of the Year award.

The award will honor a Wyoming resident 18 years or younger who has demonstrated leadership and accomplishments in any aspect of conservation, either as an individual or as part of a group.

A youth can be nominated by submitting an application on the G&F website that includes a 500 word summary of why you are nominating this person, what their accomplishments are, how they inspire others to enjoy the outdoors and practice conservation.

Nominations are open until Dec. 2.
