The 74th Convention of the Wyoming Association of Conservation District got underway yesterday in Buffalo.

Sponsored by the Clear Creek Conservation District, the 3-day event brought more than 150 agricultural leaders from 34 districts across the state to the Bomber Mountain Civic Center.

According to the Clear Creek’s Amanda Hulett, the attendance should climb to about 200 with today’s agenda.

The keynote address will be delivered today by Matt Lohr, the Chief for the USDA Natural Resource Conservation Service and according to Zach Byram, there are plans for him to view a couple of District projects…

The convention continues on Friday with Governor Mark Gordon expected to speak.
