William D. Goodman died at his home in Sheridan on Monday, July 23, 2018. He was born in Sheridan August 19, 1951. A life- long resident of Sheridan County he grew up in Big Horn and attended schools in Big Horn graduating in 1969. He went on to the University of Colorado in Boulder and graduated with a degree in 1974 in Architecture.
“Bill” as he was known to his friends loved the Big Horn Mountains where he hunted, fished, camped and snow-machined. He also had a passion for reading. He especially enjoyed reading history of the Sheridan area. He also enjoyed his scientific magazines.
He retired in May after 33 years with TSP! He left his mark on many buildings in Wyoming, South Dakota, Minnesota, and Wisconsin. He designed everything from schools, hospitals, DOT buildings, etc, etc,
He also enjoyed helping his friends especially the Kirby crew! His kindness, generosity and knowledge was loved and appreciated by all those that knew him.
Bill was proceeded by death by his sister Diana, a nephew Tuck Seeley and his parents William and Norma Goodman.
Bill is survived by his long-timed companion Linda Small of Lodge Grass, Montana. A sister Sue Goodman of Big Horn, Wyoming, a nephew Jeff (Denise), Austin and Ashtyn Seeley of Newcastle, Wyoming. A niece Crystal (Bart) Samantha, Ryan Taylor of Sheridan and a beloved aunt and uncle Verla and Bud Donahue of Sheridan.
A memorial service will be held on August 18, 2018 @11:00 a.m. with a reception to follow at Kane Funeral Home.
