Wayne Landrey, 64, passed away Wednesday, June 7, surrounded by family and friends, after a battle with cancer.  Donations in Wayne’s memory can be made to Susie Bowling Hospice or JCHC Education Program in care of Harness Funeral Home at 351 N Adams in Buffalo. Roland Wayne Landrey was born on November 15th, 1952 in Sheridan, Wyoming to Roland and Beverly Landrey. He was raised on Power River working at their family ranch and graduated from Clearmont High School in 1971. After high school, he attended Chadron State College where he ran track. He also attended college in Powell, Wyoming, graduating with a degree in Photography.

In 1975 he married Melody Ennis, and they had 2 boys, Jason & Brian.  They later divorced and Wayne lived in and around Buffalo until the time of his death.

Wayne had a real passion for hunting and shared it with everyone he guided on hunting trips! Every kid in this family loved “Uncle Weasel” as he was like a human jungle gym!!

He is survived by his sons, Jason Landrey, his wife Megan, and their children Kalin and Trevor of Longmont, Colorado; Brian Landrey of Collinsville, Texas; his mother, Beverly Landrey of Buffalo, Wyoming; two sisters, Cheri Graves and her husband Kenny of Kaycee, Wyoming; Wanda Mahoney and her husband, Dan of Kaycee, Wyoming; one brother, Jerry Landrey and his wife Missy of Buffalo, Wyoming; five nieces, Kendi Heinze and her husband Fred; Lyndi Liston and her husband Chris; Neteal Graves; Chelsea Landrey; Carlene Landrey; one nephew, Quint Gonzales and his wife Amy; three great-nieces, Adelie, Audrey and Austyn; and one great-nephew, Wyatt, who also shared a birthday with Wayne. He was preceded in death by his father, Roland Landrey and his grandmother, Theta Lester.
