40 years after the release of the science-fiction movie “Close Encounters of the Third Kind,” UFO enthusiasts are returning to Devils Tower northeast of Gillette.
The unusual geological formation was a major part of the 1977 UFO film and it will be the site of the first Devils Tower UFO Rendezvous on September 14th through the 16th.
The event will include presentations by UFO experts during the convention.
The event will also include a parade, live music, and a barbecue.
