RANCHESTER, WY—Firefighters from Ranchester Fire and Dayton Fire responded to a truck fire on Thursday morning around 7:30 a.m. Upon arriving on scene, first-responders observed a fully involved pickup truck.
Firefighters were able to quickly suppress the vehicle before any fire spread to nearby structures. The owner of the vehicle stated that the truck was warming up unattended due to the cold temperatures, and when they returned to the vehicle, they noticed fire under the hood.
Sheridan County Sheriff’s Deputies were also on scene to assist. Nobody was injured in the fire.
