Susan Huber died June 22nd in Sheridan, WY after battling lung cancer. She was born Susan Rose Hall on February 28, 1941 in Altoona, PA. Upon graduation from Altoona High in 1959, Susan moved to Santa Barbara where she married and raised two sons.
Susan worked in banking until retiring to Wyoming in 1998 where she lived until her death.
A lover of the outdoors, Susan introduced her kids to camping, taking them to literally hundreds of State and National Parks. Yosemite and Yellowstone were two of her favorite places to visit.
Crossword puzzles, D.A.R., voracious reading, PBS, her cats and all things British were just a few of her favorite activities.
Susan was preceded in death by her father, Wilbur Hall and is survived by her mother, Gladys Hall of Sheridan; sons, Scott Huber of Torrance, CA and Ron Huber of Sheridan. In addition, she is survived by Granddaughters, Lindsay and Kelsey.
Services will be held Friday, July 7th at 2:00 pm at Champion Funeral Home, 244 S. Brooks St., Sheridan.
In lieu of flowers the family requests a donation be made to the American Lung Assn. or The Dog and Cat Shelter of Sheridan.
