The City of Buffalo was served in a big way on Sunday.
The Summit Wesleyan Church’s “Serve the City Sunday” effort was certainly a big deal yesterday.
Members of the church spent most of Sunday did a cleansweep from one end of Main Street to the far end.
Other members served seniors, painted areas in need of a touch up, and provided a facelift to selected blocks as requested by neighbor groups.
They even washed car s for a $1… and the dollar went to the car owner!
Pastor William Dunlap explained the reason for “Serve the City Sunday”…
The big day of service ended with a concert at a very spruced up Crazy Woman Square!
