A bill that would provide more access areas for hunters is currently being considered in the Wyoming State Legislature’s House Travel, Recreation, Wildlife & Cultural Resources Committee.

According to District 40 State Representative Barry Crago, there appears to be growing interest in HB122 which would provide resources for the Wyoming Game & Fish Department to purchase access easement from private landowners to federal and state lands for hunting purpose…

During a guest appearance on the KBBS Morning Show, Crago also commented on HB141 which would allow the transfer of federal lands to state control…

Crago and the rest of the legislators will spend much of the weekend in preparation for a weeklong effort to address the state’s budget that begins on Monday.
