A Sheridan student athlete has verbally committed to playing football for the University of Wyoming. Blayne Baker, a 6’5″, 260 pound incoming high school senior, announced his decision this week. The Broncs lineman tweeted that he was happy to be continuing his athletic and academic career at UW following graduation.
Baker has been named an All-State offensive lineman in the 2015 and 2016 seasons, and played on both of the back-to-back 4A State Championship teams.
Blayne Baker received an offer from UW in April and was the first Wyoming high school player in the recruiting class to receive such an offer.
