The Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) has applied for funding through a Rebuilding American Infrastructure with Sustainability and Equity, or RAISE grant from the federal government. The funding is for the Coffeen Avenue project that, according to the application, will increase safety and restore deteriorating road and bridge facilities. The project will also improve bicyclist and pedestrian access by extending the existing pathway south of Sheridan College, connecting neighborhoods on the city’s south side to the city’s pathway system.
